DIY group BLOXX have been putting out some great indie records over the last year and, having amassed support from BBC Introducing and gained over a million streams, they’re back with new single ‘Coke’. It’s a cracking track with no frills or fuss – just great melodies, driving drums and frontwoman Fee’s raw vocals. Describing the process of writing ‘Coke’, Fee says: “Coke is a big deal for us as it's a song we've been playing together since the start of Bloxx. I wrote it at a time where I was naive, I hadn't grown up yet and didn't really understand what being a young adult entailed". While BLOXX may not have fully understood adulthood at the time of writing, they certainly understood how to create a fantastic record.
